Accessible Cart Service, Comet Cruiser, Parking Office
Multiple services will operate on modified schedules over Winter Break:
Accessible Cart Service
Monday, Dec 15 - Friday, Dec 19
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, Dec 20, 2025 - Sunday, Jan 4, 2026
Service closed.
Monday, Jan 5 - Friday, Jan 16
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, Jan 17 - Monday, Jan 19
Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Service closed.
Tuesday, Jan 20
Regular service resumes.
Students needing to arrange service for Spring 2026 must apply for service, and have their schedule approved, at least one business week prior to their service resuming.
Comet Cruiser
All Comet Cruiser routes will operate on a Sunday schedule for Thursday, December 25, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026.
Route 883 East will reduce the frequency of its Monday-Friday schedules, visiting stops every 30 minutes from Saturday, December 20, 2025 through Monday, January 19, 2026. This route will return to visiting stops with its usual frequency starting Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
Parking Office
The Parking Office will be closed from Saturday, December 20, 2025, through Sunday, January 4, 2026, and will not be available for phone or email support. Messages will be returned when normal office hours resume on Monday, January 5, 2026
Visitor parking permits will not be processed during this closure. Visitors may park in Green, University Village & Canyon Creek Heights Apartments or University Commons Residence Halls parking spaces without a permit on these dates.
DART GoPass® requests will not be processed from Thursday, December 18, 2025, through Sunday, January 4, 2026. Processing will resume when the Parking Office reopens on Monday, January 5, 2026.
Faculty and Staff must apply for a GoPass® TapCard by December 10, 2025 to have their passes delivered before Winter Break.
Students must apply for a physical DART [Dallas Area Rapid Transit] pass (a sticker added to their Comet Card) by contacting park@utdallas.edu by December 10, 2025 to have their passes delivered before Winter Break.
Any applications submitted between December 11, 2025 - January 4, 2026 may not be available until January 8, 2026.
Parking Garages
The top levels of PS1, PS3 and PS4 will be closed at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, as well as the ramps which lead up to them. Ramps exiting off the top garage levels will remain open until Friday, December 19.
Any vehicles left on the top levels or ramps after they close on Friday, December 19, 2025 will remain there until they reopen mid-morning on Monday, January 5, 2026, weather permitting.
