Accessible Cart Service, Comet Cruiser, Parking Office, Parking Garages
Several services will operate on modified schedules over Thanksgiving and Winter Break.
Accessible Cart Service
Accessible Cart Service will be unavailable from Thursday, November 23, 2023 through Sunday, November 26, 2023; and from Friday, December 22, 2023 through Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Students needing to arrange service for Spring 2024 must apply for service, and have their schedule approved, at least one business week prior to their service resuming.
Comet Cruiser
All Comet Cruiser routes will operate on a Sunday schedule for:
- Thursday, November 23, 2023 (Thanksgiving)
- Monday, December 25, 2023 (Christmas Day)
- Monday, January 1, 2024 (New Year’s Day)
Route 883 East will reduce the frequency of its Monday-Friday schedules, visiting stops every 30 minutes from Wednesday, December 20, 2023 through Monday, January 15 2024. This route will return to visiting stops with its usual frequency starting Tuesday, January 16 2024.
Parking Office
The Parking Office will be closed on Thursday, November 23, 2023 and Friday, November 24, 2023; and from Monday, December 25, 2023, through Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
DART GoPass® requests will not be processed on Thursday, November 23, 2023 and Friday, November 24, 2023; and from Thursday, December 21, 2023, through Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Faculty and staff applying for a physical DART GoPass® Tapcard, and students applying for a DART GoPass® Sticker, must apply by December 6, 2023 to have their pass delivered before Winter Break. All applications submitted between December 7-20, 2023 can only be processed as an electronic GoPass® that appears on the DART app. Any applications submitted between December 21, 2023 and January 2, 2024 can only be processed as an electronic GoPass® and will not be available until January 5, 2024.
Visitor parking permits will not be processed during these closures. Visitors may park in Green, University Village & Canyon Creek Heights Apartments or University Commons Residence Halls parking spaces without a permit on these dates.
DART GoPass® requests, phone messages and email messages left during these closures will be addressed when regular office hours resume: on Monday, November 27, 2023, and on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, respectively.
Parking Garages
The top levels of PS1, PS3 and PS4 will be closed at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, as will the ramps which lead up to them. Ramps exiting off the top garage levels will remain open until Thursday, December 21, 2023
Any vehicles left on the top levels or ramps after they close will remain there until they reopen mid-morning on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, weather permitting.
